Międzynarodowe Pokazy Lotnicze,  24/25 Aug. 2013

In the weekend of August 24/25 the International Air Show at Radom-Sadkow was held for the ninth time. It all began in 1991 with the idea to organize an airshow at Poznań-Ławica. This show saw only a few foreign participants. The first big International Air Show held in Poland was organized in 1995 and held at Polish Air Force base Dęblin.

The first International Air Show held at Radom-Sadkow was organized in 2000. The Polish Air Force decided to make it an annual event. The show became bigger, attracted more spectators and more international participants. After some very successful shows it became a biannual airshow from the year 2003.

Sadly the shows in 2007 and 2009 saw two deadly crashes, of which everybody remembers the horrific crash of the Su-27UB Flanker of the Belarus Air Force. Despite the tragedies the organizers kept on going and did again a great job this year by organizing a show filled with highlights. Below you'll find a full report on this great airshow.   (Click here for a full log)
